audio-visual installation and live performance

In the audiovisual installation and live performance IceCry+ (2024) ice can be experienced as an acoustic and visual body: The focus is on those sounds that are created when icebergs melt and reach enormous volumes, as well as sounds that are created when CO² is used and in the transition from a dry to a gaseous state. Electronic soundscapes, acoustic percussion instruments and underwater recordings of split icebergs combine in IceCry+ to create an inter-documentary immersive experience between nature and art, human and apparatus.

The setup of IceCry consists of 3-channel video, 8-channel sound and solo percussion.
