about

Daisy, Daisy is a part of the Music Theatre MELENCOLIA and was published already in the end in 2021: It was a gift for the 40th anniversary of the Ensemble Modern and their CD “Beschenkt”, which was released in this context. Daisy, Daisy exists in two versions – one version for large ensemble (Solo Fl.1.1.1-1.1.1.0-2perc-1pno-1synth-2.1.1.E-Bass), written for Ensemble Modern and another version for Orchestra (Solo Fl, 2.2.2.2 – 2.2.2.0 – 2perc-1pno-1synth-str), which was premiered by the Wiener Symphoniker at the Opening of the Bregenz Festival 2022. The piece is about the process of translation and the separation of emotion and expression.
