Praised for her „taut and impassioned performance” by the New York Times, the Chinese-American pianist Ning Yu will perform the US-premiere of Trilogy for two Pianos together with Grammy Award winner Cory Smythe, renowned for his inventive jazz improvisations and pioneering work in new music. The new production is supported by the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center EMPAC and will be premiered at the Time:Spans Festival New York in August 2024.
